First Trust NASDAQ Clean Edge Green Energy Index Fund (QCLN)
The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Fund’s fees and expenses) of an equity index called the NASDAQ® Clean Edge® Green Energy Index. It consists of clean energy companies that are publicly traded in the United States and includes companies engaged in manufacturing, development, distribution and installation of emerging clean-energy technologies including, but not limited to, solar photovoltaics, biofuels and advanced batteries. Holdings as of March 2011 include First Solar, Inc., Linear Technology Corporation, ON Semiconductor Corporation, Cree, Inc., National Semiconductor Corporation, MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc., AVX Corporation, International Rectifier Corporation, Tesla Motors, Fairchild Semiconductor International.
PowerShares Clean Energy Portfolio (PBW)
The Fund is based on the WilderHill Clean Energy Index. The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the Index. The Index is designed to deliver capital appreciation through the selection of companies that focus on greener and generally renewable sources of energy and technologies that facilitate cleaner energy. Top Holdings as of March 2011 include Polypore International Inc., Universal Display Corp.,Amerigon Inc.,Rubicon Technology Inc., GT Solar International Inc., Aixtron SE ADS, Zoltek Cos., SunPower Corp., Quanta Services Inc., MEMC Electronic Materials Inc.

The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the S&P Global Clean Energy Index. The Fund seeks to replicate as closely as possible the price and yield performance of the DAXglobal® Nuclear Energy Index, which is a modified market capitalization-weighted index intended to track the movements of securities of companies engaged in the nuclear energy industry that are traded on leading global exchanges. Top Holdings as of March 2011 include Constellation Energy Group Inc, Exelon Corp, Cameco Corp, EDF SA, Paladin Energy Ltd, Fronteer Development Group Inc, Uranium One Inc, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd, Uranium Participation Corp, Areva SA.
Guggenheim Solar ETF (TAN)
The Fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Mac Global Solar Energy Index, which is currently comprised of approximately 33 securities selected based upon the relative importance of solar power within the company’s business model, as determined by MAC Indexing LLC.
